P90 Pallet Racking - Push Back

P90 Pallet Racking - Push Back

Especially suitable for storing goods in large quantities: fewer operations, shorter distances and an increase in storage capacity of up to 75%.

Push-Back racking is particularly suitable for bulk goods that can be stored on pallets according to the first-in, last-out principle. Here, special channels with wheel conveyors sloping at around 4% are integrated into one sub-frame of the P90 racking system. One after another, up to ten pallets can be pushed into these channels and once a pallet is pulled out, the rest rolls out automatically. Individual pallets, however, cannot be accessed directly. This solution not only minimizes the number of operations and distances covered but also increases your storage capacity by up to 75% compared with conventional pallet racking warehouses.

Speedlock  P90 Push Back racking can also be used to provide additional storage space in otherwise unusable areas such as above cross-aisles or around dock levellers. When fully utilised, very high occupancy rates can be achieved, compared to drive-in racking or block stacking.

•    Quick easy access to all lines
•    Maximum use of floor space
•    suitable for bulk storage/cold store
•    pallet always presented at the front of racking
•    Accessible by First-In, Last-Out principle

Pallets are loaded into the Push Back pallet racking system on telescopic trolleys, each trolley being pushed back into the rack by the next incoming pallet. Pallets can be stored two, three or even four deep. Pallets are loaded and unloaded from the same aisle face, which reduces truck travel distances, and cuts cycle times.

Loaded trolleys return to the face of the rack when the previous pallet is unloaded, due to gravity. The unique design of the trolleys allows a mix of product and pallet types, including poor-quality pallets, to be stored in the same rack, even in the same lane.

A range of trolley sizes is available to suit all types and sizes of pallets.

Colour coding of trolleys can aid stock identification, and a unique multi-wheel design ensures trolleys run smoothly and reliably, even in the demanding environment of a cold stores.
